The Lilydale Garden Group was inaugurated on April 24th
2009 at a meeting in the Old Court Room. Where Fifteen
people initially signed up. It was decided to keep the
group as informal as possible with no agendas, no
minutes, no subscriptions. We plan to meet approximately
monthly at a different venue each time. In this way we
will have the opportunity, hopefully, to eventually
visit the gardens of all members. Each meeting will
include time for a cuppa and a chat as well as a tour of
the garden. The first such visit was held on 16 May & despite the bitter wind on
that day we had a full tour of the extensive orchard
and garden before retiring to the ‘Dome' for a warming
cuppa and an extensive and informative discussion.
